Hi Vaughn,

Glad you enjoyed it - you're obviously to welcome to come along if you're ever in the area again.
Let us know if you're organising a tournament again next year as the club are talking about entering if possible.

Best wishes,

Paul

Hello, just thought I'd say Hi, had a great time when I visited your club during March while I was doing some work at the All England.

Cheers, Vaughn, S.Wales.

We're still trying to finalise the details of the trip to Germany.
The singles tournament will be divided into 2 gradings for the Mens. The Grade A is for Solihull Men's 1st & 2nd divisions - county 1st & 2nd teamers will be excluded. The 2nd Grade is for Solihull Men's 3rd & 4th teams.
We have also entered ourselves into the 25 Shot Challenge where we hope to win some tickets for the All England.

Also heard about a singles' tournament. Are there any further details for this?

I'd just like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Hopefully I'll see some of you next week at one of the Little Bow Tournaments or the extra Club Night on the Friday. Remember, there won't be any further badminton at Langley until the week beginning the 7th January.

Andy & Wendy from Maurice Robinson will be coming up on a Wednesday before Xmas. I will try to get an idea of the numbers wishing to go to Germany before Xmas. As last year, I will look for confirmed numbers in February if not before.
Congratulations have to go to our two Mixed teams who both won on Friday. A great 5-4 win against KRS & a similar win against Activ Sports

The demo event with Andy Hartley from Maurice Robinsons went really well. When are we likely to do such an event again?
When do we need to let you know if we're wish to take part in the German tournament next year?

Yes, the shirts are finally here & I'm starting to hand them out now. Hopefully you should all have them by the end of the week.
Langley - the floor is being laid as we speak & if all goes to plan, we'll be back in Langley for the first week of October.
Junior Group - it looks very promising as we hope to have a confirmed slot that we can keep on a Monday at Langley.

We should hopefully have more news in the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime, we've decided to run a junior group on Fridays from 6pm-7pm at Solihull College with 5 courts available. It is hoped that we may be able to transfer this group to Langley school once the hall becomes available. This group could then run from 6pm-7:30pm.
Paul

No, not yet. We will check with the school again in a couple of weeks to see how things are progressing.
